TOPIC: Register Belastingadviseurs (RB) Notes Concerns with 30% Tax Ruling Proposal

DETAILS: The Register Belastingadviseurs (RB) recently provided the Tweede Kamer feedback associated with the 30% tax ruling proposal. In particular, in their feedback, they share our concern with the current proposal noting that entrepreneurs (MKB) will be significantly impacted if this ruling is enacted as currently written. Moreover, they argue that (1) the current proposal will weaken government trust, (2) may lead talented individuals to opt for alternative employment opportunities in other countries, and (3) will cause significant unrest for current recipients. To that end, in their feedback, they specifically call for transitional regulation for existing cases.
